Moron Smriti of Rajiv Malhotra Should be Titled 'Moron Smriti- Rajiv Malhotra, An Autobiography'
Lol! I thought he was at least a man with some integrity and caliber. Some years back, I watched a video of this moron sitting with one of Paramahamsa (Ok, take it) Nithyananda's students, and witnessing an 'opening of the third eye' event.
For me, personally...I know this is a wrong thing, but I have certain calculations. If some people do some acts or associate with some people, that's sometimes an instant signal for me to judge that person. Association with Nithyananda instantly makes me judge somebody as being in a particular way. My character sketch of that person cannot improve beyond a point after that. Read this article New JNU honorary prof Rajiv Malhotra’s CV: Charges of plagiarism & whole lot of Hindutva
Seems like a lot of people feel the same way about Rajiv Malhotra.
The link on that article lands on this page.
Signal#1. But that exchange does exist, and this is it. The other man is our Nithyananda. Check out this clip.
For me, 2 things are important in this clip
1. "this should be made available *only* for the agama people."
2. The way he coolly talks about defrauding billionaires. Means, firstly he exposes his great lust for money. No problem with that. Work hard and try to reach there. But what are you doing? Look how Nithyananda smiles unenthusiastically. Just plays along. I guess that's not because Nithyananda doesn't like the idea of selling intra-life money transfer to rich people, but because he knows that those rich people are not fooled so easily. He says in his mind "you gotta try harder, and sound more serious and original", which he does! ЁЯШЖЁЯШГЁЯШД This is his field. His area of expertise. He probably thinks that you have to say these things in a serious tone, as if you mean every word...not jest about it. Two frauds in total.
He obviously got the first point from Nithyananda's association. Even V.O.Chidambaram Pillai who is hailed as freedom fighter in lemuria, lamented about the many stages of 'sivadeekkai' etc within Saiva Sithantham. These are obviously filters for caste and wealth. Until a point in society, these 'agama rules' applied not only to those wanted to reach god, but to everyone!! The casteism of tamil society was enforced using the 'agamas' of these vellala dogs.
"saivite rituals that determined Jaffna-centric lives from womb to tomb". Who did that? The vellalas. In Tamil Country, the vellalas most probably allied with the feudal landholding/martial castes like Maravars, Kallars, Balija Naidus, Udayars, Agamudayars in order to control the masses. We know that 'kangani's are usually from this group. So, An elite layer plus a controlling layer controlled the entire society. The masses didn't have a choice because the group had all the resources. Social mobility today is a function of industrialization, not any special initiative. Most certainly not that of the Dravidian Movement of the vellala + Chettis. The Dravidian Movement was like this.
They just timed themselves in order to claim credit for everything that happened as a result of modernity and industrialization. That's not the shocking part. The shocking part is how they made tamils believe that for a full one hundred years. It might be shocking for normal humans to know how many in Tamil country still say that. This is *the* constant cry of Dravidian Movement -
"You/We are like this today...able to access education, go to proper jobs, wear chappals on our foot, live with dignity, be free men...because of Dravidian Movement and because of Periyar. Before that, Brahmins had kept us tamils as slaves for 2000 years and denied us education and basic dignity of life. We had to have our head bowed all the time. #drav and Periyar freed us."
One hundred years. No kidding. It is *the* war cry on political tamil YouTube today too. Anyways, my point is that this 'agama' mania is from the vellalas. It was actually their tool of control. I don't know where the tentacles of the vellala mafia go, but surely they go far. Dravidian Movement was constructed for the British by the vellalas/Mudaliars in order to stab Congress's freedom struggle in the back, and to secure the British rule in India. The British were the source of the money and influence of the vellalas and chettis of tamil lands. They constructed Dravidian Movement for the British. At least, that's how it started.
Chettiar/Mudaliar/Vellala mafia is insidious. India has to be alerted. This seems creepy. I don't think Rajiv Malhotra wrote that book by himself. I think vellala mafia might have used him to distort reality and bury their truths..
"Another nail in the coffin of Indian higher education'. Lol! ЁЯШЕЁЯШВ I don't know whether to laugh or cry.
Another article - Plagiarism row: How Rajiv Malhotra became the Ayn Rand of Internet Hindutva. The most important takeaway for Brahmins of TN is - there is one good news and one bad news. The good news is that if Rajiv Malhotra goes down, its easier to break this illusion of 'Breaking India' forces operating through Dravidian Movement. Maybe there is an impending danger from BI, I don't know, but that was most certainly not the source of Chettiar-Mudaliar-Pillai (Dravidian) Movement and its Brahmin hate. Its complicated.
The bad news is that, as of today, there is no book that talks about the massive, massive truths about Dravidian Movement and its relation to Indian freedom struggle, and its path after that, and about the hundred year old Brahmin hate in Tamil Country. The 'inside world' of the tamil stands isolated from popular mainstream of Indian intelligentsia.
