OF COURSE Nagarathar-Vellalar mafia is active on tamilbrahmins.com, subtly manipulating weak people. One very active member, Dr. Renuka, is a Nattukottai Nagarathar from Malaysia I guess. Phew! So, the folks who act on complaints from *these people*, do they know what has been going on in tamil country, and what this group has been doing?

This is where i think you are going wrong. I think the owner is a brahmin - just that he is misguided in his thinking. It is not only his fault. His ideas are shaped by his experiences and part of his experience is from running the forum itself. A large number of participants in that forum live abroad and they don't fully understand the gravity of the situation in tamil nadu. So if someone comes and say how great hinduism is or how varna system is good etc , some others would retort and say anything from casteism is bad, caste system is bad, varnashrama is bad etc etc the diversity of views exist only upto to this point; they would not call out the singular hatred perpetrated against brahmins in tamil nadu. It is a forum for talking a bunch of useless stuff. It is not for achieving any thing substantial in ground that could benefit the brahmins because that kind of strategical thinking is beyond them. But this doesn't mean the owners are not brahmins etc and i think by making frivolous accusations like this thread you risk losing credibility in the eyes of the readers. You have the responsibility of being razor sharp and credible all the time.

ReplyDeleteThat's why i include a lot of emotions all the time, so that those lapses will be dismissed as being caused by excessive anxiety/panic. It is warranted too. The hate in TamilNadu can drive anybody mad. I noticed that the mamas in tb.com are either too conceited and oversensitive, or are totally non-opinionated. Its a possibility. Just like those 2 students who asked for separate dining in Cheran Mahadevi Gurukulam in 1924/25 being vellalas with poonool (adi saiva sivachariar) is a possibility.
Seems like this game could be old. There are more than one cases with titles 'Seshammal & Ors vs...' on indiakanoon. Will try to dig if there's some old feud, and they made this so in remembrance of something.
