யாழ்ப்பாணத்து வெள்ளாள நாய்களுக்கு பார்ப்பன வெறுப்பு கிடையாது என்று கேள்வி. அது என்னமோ தெரியல, தமிழ்நாட்டுக்கு வந்தா இப்புடி ஆயிடுறானுங்க. திருமுருகன் காந்தி, பூவண்ணன் கணபதி.

இங்க வந்து பெரியார், இந்தியா, மாநில சுயாட்சி னு பேசுற...ஏண்டா டேய்..உங்க கதையை கொஞ்சம் நோண்டலாமா?

ஈழத்தில் நடந்தது தமிழர்களுக்கும் சிங்களவர்களுக்குமிடையான போரா, இல்ல வெள்ளாளனும் வெள்ளாளன் அல்லாதனுக்கும் நடந்த போரா? வெள்ளாளனுக்கும் சிங்களவனுக்கு இன்று வரை மண உறவுகள் உட்பட நெருக்கம் இருக்கா இல்லையா?

Was the Eelam civil war in Sri Lanka/Jaffna really Tamil vs Sinhala, or Vellala vs. Non-Vellala? Do not the tamil vellalas and the sinhala have close ties, including marriage, till today?

Think about this. Both Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi supported the LTTE. India supplied weapons and training to the LTTE. IPKF was sent for support of tamils. So why did the IPKF and LTTE end up fighting each other? Doesn't that sound fishy?

By 1987, SL army was closing in on the LTTE, then Rajiv Gandhi sent IPKF, and, in a show of force, carried out operation Poomalai. Basically, dropped food supplied from planes, and sent a message to SL that India would not be a mute spectator to the massacre of Tamils by the SL army. This was done by a man with balls. Rajiv Gandhi defied the SL govt with a show of force in order to show support and solidarity for the ethnic tamils in SL soil (LTTE included). So what went wrong?

The Indo-Sri Lanka Accord was signed after this. Basically, a peace accord between SL and India, to end the civil war. SL agreed to devolve powers to the tamil areas, and to retract its army in the North.

They say LTTE was pissed off that they were not invited to sign the accord. Its frivolous, lets dismiss that. What more did LTTE want? All of their demands were being satisfied. What are we missing here?

Im saying the LTTE, which was the representative of the lower caste tamils, was *forced to fight* the IPKF (maybe, threatened with a gruesome death) by the vellala mafia. Or, maybe it was not just LTTE which fought the IPKF. Did other orgs wear LTTE uniform and fight LTTE? There were many other orgs like PLOT, EPRLF, TELO, which were all run by vellalas.

Read this, for ex - > “Don’t tell them where we live” – Caste andaccess to education in northern Sri Lanka. Read that short paper to understand what kind of a society North SL tamil society was. The vellalas were the dominant group and had kept the remaining 50% non-vellalas like slaves. LTTE was more about dismantling vellala hegemony than Sinhala oppression. In fact, Sinhalas actually tried to help the lower caste tamils by bringing in district quotas in 1972. The other militant groups like PLOT, etc which LTTE is stated to have quelled, in its early days, were vellala-outfits.

If all Prabhakaran wanted was a separate, sovereign state, why did he hate the IPKF, who were sent for their support? Why did he oppose the Indo-SL accord, which could have been the key milestone towards that end? It doesn't add up, right?

Im saying the LTTE were somehow forced or tricked to fight the IPKF. Rajiv Gandhi and India thought that what was happening in Sri Lanka was Tamils vs Sinhala (thats what the vellalas say, in TN and abroad) and that, by helping the LTTE, he was helping tamils in their fight against the Sinhalas. He didn't realise that by helping the LTTE, he was making himself an enemy of the vellalas.

The two country heads who are said to be murdered by LTTE, Rajiv Gandhi (India), and Ranasinghe Premadasa (Sri Lanka) have one thing in common. Both supported the LTTE. Rajiv Gandhi did so thinking that to help LTTE was to help tamils. The latter was more conscious of the caste equations themselves. Ranasinghe Premadasa was the first non-goyigama PM or something. He was himself from a low social background, and even constructed a model casteless area in a highly caste-conscious tamil locality in the north. Were both the state heads really murdered by the LTTE, whom they supported? I don't know. Was Eelam war really Sinhala vs tamil, or Vellala vs. non-vellala? I don't know. Somehow, the current narrative of events don't add up. 

The Jaffna Vellala dog Thirumurugan says you need warlike spirit. He is trying to incite crowds. Nagarathar + Vellalar is mighty good at this. As usual, inciting strong casteist emotions and rage. This is a purely-tamil phenomenon. This level of crowd/emotion control. As usual, if India sees the use to which the Nattukottai Chettiar + the vellalas have put Manusmriti, India will be deeply deeply deeply shocked. Actually, India doesn't know tamils and tamil people at all. I guess even the neighbors Karnataka and Andhra don't. This is a unique place with a unique peoples.
